Browse the way Font Book does

A collection for each design style, plus Nerd Fonts and a look at Apple's own. Sort by name, by how many people install it, or by what's climbing. Search by name.

Preview before you download

Every card in the gallery is set in its own face, and nothing downloads until you tap Install. The app ships the previews, so scrolling costs you nothing.

Install and remove, system-wide

Installed fonts appear in Settings › General › Fonts and survive app updates. Remove one from Typecask or from Settings, whichever you reach first.

Updates when a font changes

Typecask records the version of every font you install. When a later release carries a newer one, the font's page offers Update instead of Install.

Nothing is collected

Typecask has no accounts and no analytics, and the app makes no network requests of its own. Fonts come down from Apple's App Store servers when you install them, the same way the rest of an app's content does.

Every font keeps its license

A font without a license it can be redistributed under isn't in the catalog. The rest ship with their license text, which you can read in the app and on every font's page here.
